PUBLIC HEARING

April 22, 2008

 

Notice is hereby given that a PUBLIC HEARING of the PLANNING COMMISSION of the City of Gretna, Nebraska, will be held at 7:00 o'clock p.m. on April 22, 2008 as part of their regular meeting, to approve or deny the following requests:

 

1)         George and Jeanette McFarling of 11890 S 219 Ave, Gretna, NE 68028 requests approval of a Preliminary/Final Plat of a subdivision to be known as Covington Replat 2 being a platting of Lot 30 Covington and Lot 3 Covington Replat 1 as surveyed, platted, and recorded in Sarpy County, Nebraska. (11720 S 202nd Street, Covington Subdivision)

 

 

2)         RTR Enterprises of 11391 S 232 Street, Gretna, NE 68028 and Bruce Williams/Spring Fever Inc. of P O Box 37, Gretna, NE 68028 requests approval of a Conditional Use Permit to operate a Retail Garden Center in a GC zoning district on the following described property, to wit: Lot 107, Standing Stone as surveyed, platted, and recorded in Sarpy County, Nebraska. (11745 Hwy 6)

 

 

3)         Kevin Irish c/o Prudential Ambassador Real Estate of 11340 California Street, Omaha, NE 68154 requests approval of a Preliminary Plat of a subdivision to be known as Renaissance, Lots 1 through 72 and Outlots A through G being a platting of a part of the SE quarter of Section 25, T14N, R10E of the 6th P.M.  Sarpy County , Nebraska. (West of Highway 6, north of BNSF Railroad, south of Lincoln Road)

 

 

4)         Kevin Irish c/o Prudential Ambassador Real Estate of 11340 California Street, Omaha, NE 68154 requests approval of a Change of Zone from AG and R-1 to R-2, R-3, and HC with a MUC Overlay for a proposed subdivision to be known as Renaissance, Lots 1 through 72 and Outlots A through G on the following described to wit: a part of the SE quarter of Section 25, T14N, R10E of the 6th P.M.  Sarpy County , Nebraska. (West of Highway 6, north of BNSF Railroad, south of Lincoln Road)

 

 

5)         Kevin Irish c/o Prudential Ambassador Real Estate of 11340 California Street, Omaha, NE 68154 requests approval of a Conditional Use permit to allow a multi-family project with a greater density than allowed as a permitted use, allowing up to 100 units, on the following described property, to wit: a part of the SE quarter of Section 25, T14N, R10E of the 6th P.M.  Sarpy County, Nebraska to be known as Renaissance, Lots 15 and 18. (West of Highway 6, north of BNSF Railroad, south of Lincoln Road)

 

            The Public Hearing will be held at the Gretna City Hall, 204 N. McKenna Gretna, Nebraska. The agenda for such meeting kept continuously current, is available for Public inspection at the Office of the City Clerk at the above address, which agenda the COMMISSION may modify at such time.

 

            All interested parties are asked to attend to express any objections to this request.  A written objection must be filed with the City Clerk prior to the 22nd day of April and will be heard at the Public Hearing.
